Leadership

Stephen Bagby, Ph.D.

Director, Fellows Program
sbagby@incarnation.org

Dr. Bagby was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He earned a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of North Texas, a Th.M. in Historical Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in Theology from Durham University (UK). He has taught church history and served in the administration at two seminaries: Redeemer Seminary and SMU Perkins School of Theology. He has also lectured at various seminaries around the world.

When not at work, Dr. Bagby enjoys hanging out with his wife and four young kids. He is active in his kids’ Cub Scout meetings and campouts, and loves riding his bike on the weekends around White Rock Lake in east Dallas. He is also an avid reader of literature, history, and theology, and is always looking for new book recommendations.

Stemming from his own experience of entering the workforce upon college graduation, Dr. Bagby has a passion for helping young adults discern their future. He sees Incarnation Fellows as the perfect opportunity to teach, mentor, serve, and help others discover their gifts and opportunities, so they may live faithful lives of Christ-honoring leadership and service in their communities.
